35th Anniversary Hood and Rear Reflector Panel Emblems

The 35th Anniversary Hood emblem was a special emblem with blue painted into the grooves in the wings and around the outer edge where the standard thunderbird emblem was black. Thanks to Mike Conner, owner of The Hobby Shop at Crossroads Mall in Oklahoma City, I have found a near perfect match for this blue paint. It is Testors Model Masters part number 2012 Cobalt Blue military series paint. We matched it to an original unused 35th hood emblem still in the box. This paint can also be used to refresh or duplicate the blue in the wings on the 35th Anniversary trunk reflector panels. I hope you find this information helpful.
