Supercharger Air Leaks

The supercharger can develop air leaks at the points shown in the picture above. If this happens, you can get irratic idle and poor performance. Ford made a teflon seal kit to seal these connections. Many owners have used silicone sealer. I have used Yamabond exhaust sealer with good success. A gasket kit is also available if desired that can be reused to seal the connections.

This teflon gasket kit was designed by and can be obtained from SCCoA member, tbird88. I am not aware of any other gasket kits such as this one.

The Ford seal tape, if that is what you desire, can be obtained from Super Coupe Performance. I am not aware of anyone else who sells just the tape.
